generations

this... has an incredibly long history. In fact, it's so long I don't even remember where exactly it started orz
Well, the thing is, I initially did it as a watercolor piece maaaaaaaany years ago for a dA friend who probably doesn't even remember me anymore nowadays. In any case, the coloring sucked, the scan sucked, everything sucked and I had always wanted to redo this. When I had a new tablet I started to redraw the whole thing digitally in Sai, but only worked on it periodically. When I was almost done my tablet died and I had to wait another long time until I had a new one. So basically, the old basis is centuries old and the new coloring also took literally years. Many times I just lacked the drive to finish this because I didn't like it, couldn't stand looking at it anymore after so many years of doing small things with it, but then I sat down on my ass last night and finally finished the last bits. In fact, thanks to suggestions from friends, I like it a bit more now.
It's not awesome in any way, but hey, I draw not very well anyway and in this status I'm glad it's finally over and in a condition where I don't puke looking at it anymore, so yeah. I can finally close this chapter.

The whole thing was based on the assumption that Sir Aaron from one of the Pokémon movies and Gen/Riley from Platinum are somehow related due to their character designs being very similar. I don't think there is any concrete yes or no about this, so the headcanon still exists.
